ROD - Marine update

ETC Water were given an additional subvention by the EEA to carry out a major update and revision of the reporting obligations held in the Reporting Obligations Database (ROD).

This work was done by Brad Searle of WRc during June and July and resulted in a complete renewal of all the obligations for marine and coastal waters. The work was verified in consultation with representatives of the Marine Conventions.

ROD is one of the Reportnet tools.

National organisations (principally through the NFPs) are kept informed about deadlines for expected deliveries in the ROD making planning and follow-up actions easier. ROD is now linked to the Data Dictionary where details of the specific requirements of the reporting obligation are described.
