EUROWATERNET 2002 Data Collection
NFPs and NRCs:
Where to find documentation for the 2002 Data Collection and your country's data for validating....
1. Background material is available to assist you in providing river, lake and groundwater data through the EUROWATERNET 2002 data flow process.

- The technical document Guidance on Updating of Priority Data Flows through EUROWATERNET and the Population of WATERBASE
- The Excel templates detailing the format and content of the exchange of river, lake and groundwater data
...are located in the EIONET Water Interest Group on CIRCLE.
2. As part of the validation process, we also ask that you check your country's existing data. A file of validation questions relating to your country's river data can be found in the EIONET Water Interest Group.
3. A file of your country's water quality data can be downloaded from the EEA's Data Service (click on the Waterbase link), using your CIRCLE login and password.
- Browse through the water themes listed and click on the Water Quality in Rivers or Water Quality in Lakes link
- The data files can be found under the Downloads tab and are in zipped, semi-colon separated text format
